em ..well in all my travels around Greece i don't remember ever seeing a public toilet [except at the airports and ferry terminals] taverner's/bar owners are usually very obliging if approached nicely and will let you use their facilities .. just remember in most cases its no paper/nappies or similar down the loo...

I would definitely take a potty, for the tiny bit of extra weight it will make it so much easier.

There are quite a few public toilets in the town. However, I'd still take a potty!!

We did see public toilets when in Rhodes , i think they were by a park area near the old town ,
i'm sure tho that you could user the toilet facilities in any hotel or bar, restaurant for the little one , rather than carry a potty around with you . Where would you empty the potty , depending what your little one has done you cant just throw away in the gutter . Just remembered there are definately public toilets in the old town which are very clean .

There are excellent public toilets in the centre of the New Market, right opposite the Indigo and there is a charge of 50c.

I remember when my daughter was very young and needed the loo whilst we were out. One hotel refused point blank. We were by the Olympic Airways office and they were so kind, showed her where the loo was, waited to escort her back to us and supplied her with paper and pencils to last the rest of the holiday.I also remember the loos near the taxi rank. Years ago an gent would be by the entrance handing out tiny bits of toilet paper! Don't know if he's still there.
