hi
Ive booked a holiday for my family starting 21st july at the Pueblo indalo apartments. my children are 17, 16, 11, 9 is there something for everyone to do
Regarding the PI I met a family at the airport on the way home who had stayed at the PI with kids roughly the same age as yours and they all thought it was great and there was something for everyone to do there. Have a great holiday.
There are kids clubs for the younger ones. Also there are tennis courts if they lie that sort of thing plus daily actovities at the bigger pool. There are watersports at the beach and a riding school within easy walking distance.
I'm considering Mojacar Pueblo Indalo apartments for 2 weeks in June 2006 for me, my husband and our almost-2-year-old girl. We plan on hiring a car for all 2 weeks, and therefore I have a couple of questions.
1. They say they have a car park. Is it free for guests or how much is it per day? Are there any parking options around the hotel, just in case?
2. Is there a possibility to hire a reasonably priced babysitter? Our girl goes to bed rather early, and it would be great if we find someone who would sometimes stay with her sleeping while we go out.
Any hint should be appreciated, thanks in advance
What sort of a holiday are you looking for. PI is a very lively spot. It would be ideal for teenagers. Maybe in June it wil be quieter. Does it have AC because Mojacar gets very hot.
As far as I know, they have AC.
The problem for us is that we're from Russia and not from Moscow, so visa troubles are really huge if we decide to gor for something our travel agencies don't offer. And almost all they offer are hotels, while we'd prefer to have an apartment and cook for our girl. Pueblo Indalo is practically the only aparthotel in Andalucia they offer.
I also read the reviews and decided it's good enough for little kids. We don't require complete silence around us, but we'd definitely prefer if they don't shout loudly all the night around our apartment
We went the first two weeks in May, and the complex was pretty busy, but you could get sun beds easily with none of the problems I now get having to go in the school holidays. The weather was great, not too hot for a 2 year old. We tried to tire her out at the pool in the morning, in the hope she would nap in the afternoon, then she could manage to come out to the various restuarants with us in the evenings. We took a buggy, then she could fall asleep in it if she got tired, whilst we had coffee, drinks etc.
Always meant to go back, but you know how it is.
Well if your choice is limited you will have a wonderful time in PI. It is also an excellent location right bang in the middle of the resort. With regard the parking I dont think there is a lot of it in the Complex itself, but across the road there is plenty and you dont have to pay for it.
Next year I'll definitely go for no travel agencies, but this year I had enough visa hassles as I just got back from Italy. The easiest way to get a visa for us in Siberia is to go to Moscow with all our documents! And it's a 4 hours flight, not even to mention the price
Wow that is a lot of trouble to go to for a holiday. Just goes to show how much we take it for granted.
thanks
