Almost everything opens at the beginning of April, hotels, shops, bars and restaurants. Weather, from experience, can be very pleasant, low to mid 20's C during the day so shorts & T-shirt. Mid teens C during the evening, so a sweater or jacket is a must. Expect rain showers on the occasional day. The sea will be cold but the beach can be very comfortable.

The first time I went to Puerto Pollensa it was in April - the weather was nice, but not hugely hot in the evening and there was not a massive amount open as it was just coming into the holiday season.
