what a great few hours!
we all loved it
we got picked up,from the hotel & taken to the pick up point, where we all were given instructions,on how to use the bike,at which point,i felt sick, because of the gears.hubby told me,i would be fine, but my stomach was churning,at which point,i decided to pay $10,to take the extra insurance out,at which point hubby, just rolled his eyes

i then decided,to be doubly safe & opted, for them to make it manual for me,which made me feel so much better!
we were off then! a couple of goes round the yard & away we went.
i will admit,to being the last,in the pack, but eh,i was comfortable with that.they must choose the bumpiest route possible.i was praying my grandaughter, was holding on tight, but she was absolutely loving it.
we then stopped off,for a drink, where we visited this cave, which was absolutely amazing.full of stalagmites & stalagtites & then you go further in & it is pitch black, but you are on a walkway, over water & the guy lights it up and explains it all to you.it's really hard to explain.it's one of those things, you have to see!
back on the bikes, where we head off to a cenote, which is a freshwater pool,in the jungle, where everyone had a swim.totally refreshing,as the heat was unbearable.it was hotter than turkey in august.
this is the point, where you are offered the c.d,for $30.we bought one, simply because you don't get chance,to take photos yourself.
there are actually some good photos on it,as well!
we then headed back,to drop the bikes off.
there were 11 of us,in total & everyone, was really friendly.i'm glad i paid the extra $10,for peace of mind,as it made me relax & have a great time.
we took a bag with us,as we took towels & mozzie spray, but they just strap them,on the front of the bikes for you.most people used the towels,to sit on as well,as the seats were absolutely red hot,so they came in useful, for that as well!
you will have a great time,
tracy
