I have just answered this for you over on ECB but as posted yes there is a demand for plumbers and electricians although the building trade slump is upon us here, but there is always the ex-pat market who would rather deal in general with ex-pat tradesmen if only for the slight language barrier, you must remember though your quotes will have to reflect the low wage structure here, you will not get away with UK pricing in Cyprus...
I wish you all the luck.
Jim
Thanks for the replies Jim. Looks like we may have to concentrate on the ex pats then! My husband wont rip them off, honest! No disrespect to Cypriot plumbers, but you get for what you pay for. Like i said before, their general plumbing and building work is not generally upto UK standard. By the time we go to live in Cyprus permanently, we may have a little "nest egg" to live off, so just the odd jobs will get us by!!
