There is a market in Kadriye and quite few shops. I did not go into Belek so I don't know. We went to Manvagat market as part of a trip to Side it is a brilliant market priced in euros it sold everything. On the same trip we also went to a clothes factory outlet shop which was cheaper than the market. Everything was priced so no hassle and free to wander. It was all on one floor with free soft drinks as well. The trip was with Thomas Cook and was well worth the money as it incuded a lunch at a fish restaurant by the Manvagat Falls.

I am travelling to side in August this year, never been to this part before. I love shopping on the markets, always on the lookout for a bargain. Looking through the posts I think Manvagat??? is the nearest market to side. I love designer handbags and watches, what can i expect to pay for good copies? any info would be really appreciated.

This is interesting question Julie. I dont know the answer but would also like to know. I am useless at haggling so I would probably end up paying way too much.

depends on quality,you can get 4 or 5 for a tenner on markets,poor copies or can pay £20 to 40 also , shops and bazzars can be expensive,i ve been to marmaris lots and only once have i bought a bag ,that was in may and only because only 1 shop sold it (its a cottage) and daughter had to have it,cost me £30 i nearly cried ..i buy my bags from goa at a fraction of the cost and better quality,jimmy choo, marc jacobs,mulberry ,chloe ect .that good i bought 10 in march and daughter bought 6 in april, and they didnt break the bank ,, i would shop around if i was you ,,go look on ebay to get a rough idea then check the real handbag sites ,then you will able to compare ,im sure you will then get a price in youre head that youre happy at paying ,stick to youre limit and walk away if they dont agree,the will soon shout you back if there willing to take that offer.a couple of years ago i seen a chloe paddington in bazzar and they wanted £90 for it .i didnt get it and was kicking myself on plane on way home wishing i had ,but then got it last year in goa for £12 good luck shopping ,the hassling will come easily after a few days ,top up youre tan and if asked say youve been lots of times ,then they will think youre an old hat at the game

We went on a Thursday and I believe it is also on a Monday. I thought it was a good one - pretty large with separate fruit and veg area. We went by taxi but you can do it as part of an excursion mostly on boat and also visiting Manavgat waterfall. We also visited the waterfall by taxi on another day. The taxi driver waits for you there and brings you back when you are ready. At the market there is a taxi rank.

the design is Ed Hardy. I dont know about the bags, but they have got the tracksuits with that design on the back also the caps and t shirts.
the tracksuit cost £25.00 complete.

In Manavgat market near Side, these 'Ed Hardy' tshirts were on almost every stall selling clothes! There were hardly any other brands, it was all Ed Hardy. So I suspect Icmeler will be the same....

Another question sorry, i been told turkey is good for fakes what is it they sell as well as t shirts? do they do handbags

tuekys fake t shirty are briliant ! its normally £10 for 3 , and i bought mind a year ago , no ones spotted its fake yet !

I bought tops three years ago that hubby is still wearing they wash and keep their shape well, bought handbags 4 for £10 and matching purses 4 for £5 in the market in Icemeler, use them often and no-one had sussed out that they are fakes.

Yes they do Handbags and anything else that is designer. You need to Haggle as they will make a fortune out of you if you don't.

They do sell handbags, i got a fake D&G this year and it has been one of the best handbags i have ever had, They also sell Jeans which Hubby always brings a few pairs back every year and they have also been good. other things they do are wathces and sunglasses and perfume but i have never botherd with the perfume.

i would stay clear of the perfume, some sprsy you with the real thing and sell you fake wiffy stuff
