Well, the visa situation has finally resolved itself(wonder if this forum had anything to do with anyone seeing sense)so it looks like Goa again for us.We are looking at beginning of march and once again need good old HTrs to chip in with advice.
Those of you who have read my posts will know we are not Goa virgins so fully know what to expect but still help is needed.
Last year we really enjoyed The Nizmar.Location and all that.Ruled out this year because of the unbelievable decision to go AI.We also really like Candolim.
Our Flights will be with First Choice which leaves us with 3 choices.
Prazeres Candolim.Great location but seen some of the reviews from last year and concerned.
Osbourne Calangute.Again great location but air con costs extra and some dodgy reviews.
Palmarinha Resort Calangute. At the moment our favourite because of the reviews and includes air con but the minus seems to be it s a bit out of the way.Do not mind hiring a scooter for the day(tips please as to where near hotel)but as we both like the odd drink or three no good for evenings.
So over to you good folks again.
Regards
Papa
Sorry forgot to mention my hatred of the taxi drivers and their idea of a fair price.
NIL SATIS NISI OPTIMUM.
Thanks Alan.Problem is the availability with First Choice on those dates. We have considered going scheduled but it seems like a lot of hassle for just two weeks.
Hi Papa I think the Osborne is definitely the best hotel of the 3 and its most certainly in the best location. Good luck, let us all know how you get on.
