Hi we would love to take our children to Disney next summer before they get to a age where one does not want to travel with us
unfortunatley due to working as a ta in a school we have to stick to school holidays, want to try and get the best price available but havent a clue where to start.
so far have found hotel booking with disney for £2,549 thats for the four of us (2 adults and two children 14 + 11) staying on resort with meals and tickets. We dont drive so think it would be easier for us to stay on site but if anyone knows better would consider staying off site, but like the idea that you can get extras by staying on site like earlier access to park and good viewing for fireworks, but has anyone done this and is it worth it?
Secondly if we book a package including flights price goes up to nearly £7000 so any idea where we can look for cheaper flights and if so which sites
any help appreciated
Thanks in advance
Denise
The added advantage of going through Dublin is that you clear US immigration and customs in Dublin and arrive in Orlando at the domestic terminal so you head straight for baggage reclaim rather than standing in line for ages to enter the US. My brother-in-law lives in New York and when we visited him 18 months ago we stood in line for over an hour to clear immigration despite being pulled out the main line and put through the green card channel as we had the children with us.
Do these prices include flights and hotel, or flights only ? We got a price of about £3000 for 3 adults and 1 child from Glasgow during the school hols, which I thought was pretty fair. Not staying on site at Disney, but at Coco Key Hotel and Waterpark on I Drive. Also includes car hire.
