Recommended apartment near Palm Beach Club in PDL Americas?

Hi,

My parents have timeshare at the Palm Beach Club and are staying there in January. We're going over from 13-20 (Saturday flights) but the changeover day is Friday.... can anyone recommend nice apartments (preferably not a studio) that is reasonably close by? There's just the two of us (my son and his mates have booked into the Paraiso del Sol but it sounds very 18-30

- we'd like something quieter).

I have enquired about a couple of private rentals on the Bungamerica complex but the owners are using them when we're over there. I've found somewhere offering duplex apartments on El Cortijo & Urbania Club but I can't find out anything about them!

Our budget is up to £300 for the week - any help would be very gratefully received!

You have a few choices but having not stayed at any of them please do some research first.

Hacienda del sol
El paradero 1 and 11
Apartamerica
Bungamerica
El cortijo

You could always rent in Palm Beach Club itself. I realise that usually runs from Friday to Friday,

Is that a non starter?

Thanks for the replies.

Unfortunately we have limited holidays and we got a cheap Saturday flight hence the need to find somewhere offering a Saturday changover - although we can always stay on mum's sofabed for the last night if desperate!

I've spoken to an agent who used to rent out apartment on Bungamerica whoc says they no longer use it due to customer complaints - they appear to have a problem with cockroaches

They offered Garden City as an alternative but that looks quite a further on the map but she said 100m only from Bungamerica?

Will keep looking!

That isn't correct - but it's only a 10 minute walk to Palm Beach.
