I would forget Menorca altogether. The whole island is focused around families with children. You may find the odd place, but you will always at some point "bump into" children. If it were me i would go to Majorca if sticking to the Balaerics. You are more likely to find somewhere more "adult friendly" if that is what you are looking for.

you should go to ibiza, you will have a fab time there.
