Can you tell me when the resorts on the coast open and close for the winter months.
We are thinking of mid to late Septtember 2009. What will the temp. be and will places be closed down.

The 'season' has been extended by the resort owners & tour operators into the 2nd week of October, but I personally wouldn't consider anything later than early to mid September - you may be lucky with the weather in September, you may not.
Check detailed 10-year weather history for Burgas/Sunny Beach HERE, I have selected the period 1st to 14th September - enter your own anticipated dates for information about your proposed dates.
The resorts usually start to wind down from mid September, with full closure by mid-October.
