The two that immediately spring to mind are Bondjuk, which has a good clientele from people who are regulars in Turunc. If you start walking out of the village on the road towards Marmaris you find it on one of the first bends, only a couple of minutes from the main street (there is a map on our website). It's been owned by the same family for years, and they have some secret recipes - Bondjuk salad for starters which is amazing, and their oven baked lamb, which you order the previous day and is slow cooked overnight, delicous! A tip if you go here don't eat too much during the day you get lots of little extra's, we always come out of there stuffed!
The other one is the Green Garden, walk up the road by the mosque and cross the road that runs parallel with the main street, past the travel agents on the corner, past Fidan apartments and you come to it a few minutes later. It's only small so when we went there we had to book for the following night as they couldn't fit us in. The menu is a bit different to a lot of the others.
On the road that runs parallel with the main street there is also Pasha's which is good, and Serifs kitchen next to it. Has a limited menu, and for a casserole you have to give a couple of hours notice - all good home cooked food, it is also a pancake house.
Cinar in the side road opposite the mosque is also really good, and great value for money for standard of food, and also very nice polite service.
Hope that gives you some ideas for your next visit, have a good holiday!

Thanks for that Alfie - I'll certainly make a note of these restuarants and be sure to give them a try. Going on 20 July so not long now and can't wait.
