Hi
Please can anyone recomment a nice place to eat at Paphos Harbour ?
We would particularly like somewhere that is good for fish - even better if they were to do a fish meze !!
Many thanks
Any of the restaurants at Paphos harbour are good to eat at.........it's just a case of picking
the one you like the look of best...........and they all look good
Helenxx
Well I have to say they are not the best, maybe go over the road to the Captains table, you have an even better view, food is ok although like all the harbour restaurants a little overpriced and touristy..always better to get out of town if you can..
To be honest avoid the restaurants in the harbour they are very overpriced and can be extremely busy in the summer. Tourist trap personified
Well I personally found them good and paid no more for my favourite sardines, chips and salad
Helen just to say you will not find any or many ex-pats in them...
I appreciate that Jim I would love to go to the Captains Table, as you say it's a better view,
Hi Helen I am really sorry to hear of this, I have only just started to walk again...new hip... best wishes.
Have you ditched the stick yet, Jim?
Hope you're doing good now Jim after your op
Mark maybe see you in September
Hi Helen.
Pissouri 4 - 11 September.
Larnaca 11- 17 September.
Mark
Mostly yes Mark, only use it on longer walks
There was one, can't remember the name, it was not in the harbour but near it & along the front.
They had live music playing & a dance area in the middle, I think they had blue tablecloths under the white clothes!!
Anyway, was the best meal in Pathos. Sorry I can't be any clearer.
It was not a million miles from the Captains table & macdonalds, it was in that area. Worth looking for, you would spot it but the lille dance floor in the centre, was open down the front & right hand side, when looking from front & enclosed on the left side.
It was really nice anyway, good luck with your hols.
kimevans that sounds a bit like The Moorings If it is then yes you get a great meal in there

Hi Helen
I think you are right, that name rings a bell
Great food, nice authentic mid level music, great spot & prices were good too.
Kim
Glad you liked the Moorings too Another good restaurant further along (away from the harbour)
and opposite the Almyra is Phivos............does the best kleftiko ever
Have to agree Kim the prices and food are good
Helenxx
The Moorings is one of my favourites too. The staff are great, good choice of food (but avoid the scampi, it's dire!). If you fancy a change from fish, try the Flambe restaurant (keep walking along the prom away from the harbour and it's set back near the Adelaida restaurant). Mainly steaks etc cooked fresh in front of you. Also Porto Romana next door for Italian food. Enjoy!
Best meal we had was at Les Amis next to the Aloe Hotel, anotherr lovely place with a friendly owner was called Charlies, just off the sea front, went there 3 times. Great set menus.
