Well I have to say they are not the best, maybe go over the road to the Captains table, you have an even better view, food is ok although like all the harbour restaurants a little overpriced and touristy..always better to get out of town if you can.. :D

To be honest avoid the restaurants in the harbour they are very overpriced and can be extremely busy in the summer. Tourist trap personified
Reply
Well I personally found them good and paid no more for my favourite sardines, chips and salad

than I did anywhere else :D
Reply
Helen just to say you will not find any or many ex-pats in them... :tdown

I appreciate that Jim :D I would love to go to the Captains Table, as you say it's a better view,

but being a wheelchair user it isn't really possible :(

Lisa.

There was one, can't remember the name, it was not in the harbour but near it & along the front.

They had live music playing & a dance area in the middle, I think they had blue tablecloths under the white clothes!!

Anyway, was the best meal in Pathos. Sorry I can't be any clearer.

It was not a million miles from the Captains table & macdonalds, it was in that area. Worth looking for, you would spot it but the lille dance floor in the centre, was open down the front & right hand side, when looking from front & enclosed on the left side.

It was really nice anyway, good luck with your hols.

The Moorings is one of my favourites too. The staff are great, good choice of food (but avoid the scampi, it's dire!). If you fancy a change from fish, try the Flambe restaurant (keep walking along the prom away from the harbour and it's set back near the Adelaida restaurant). Mainly steaks etc cooked fresh in front of you. Also Porto Romana next door for Italian food. Enjoy!

Best meal we had was at Les Amis next to the Aloe Hotel, anotherr lovely place with a friendly owner was called Charlies, just off the sea front, went there 3 times. Great set menus.
