Any particular resort, capt ?
cheers.
Hi, I can recommend pizza sabotini in benalmadena, they do lovely pizzas, pastas, etc... After a few bad meals in benalmadena, we came accross this restaurant, and ate there most days. (Its about 200 metres from the bottom of benalmadena palace, just keep walking left - and you'll come accross it. Enjoy. BBB.
How about O'Mama Mias? Well worth checking out if you are in Torremolinos.
We went to Da Fano's in Benalmadena three weeks ago and had a lovely meal portions were big and the house wine good. It down near the marina and is well worth a visit
Georgio's on Avenida Bonanza is very good. It's tucked away in the corner, the last bar/restaurant on the left handside as you head up the hill from Bonanza square. You may need to book since it is very popular. They don't do pizza. They do a menu of the day for 11 Euros which is 4 four courses, and you'd probably pay that much for just the main course elsewhere. Wine is not included and starts around 8 Euros a bottle so they get you one way or the other.
Sorry this is about eating places, I misread the subject title. Thought it meant hand cuffs and chains.
One of my favorite Italian restaurants is The Pergola in Torremolinos. It's on Calle Cassablanca not far from Scandals bar (which was El Capote English Music Bar for about 20 odd years so if you know Torremolinos you may know this as a landmark). The food is a very reasonable price and they do a mighty fine pizza. I have it on good authority that the swordfish and steak isn't bad either. They close Thurdays though (if I remember rightly)
Please do not post in Colourd/bold/caps see terms and conditions
Oops, sorry
No problem Emgin I have taken them off for you.
Someone who remembers El Capote. Many a good night had there with Judy & Julian. They sold the bar 2-3 years ago and I have never seen them in town since. I go there 4-5 times a year, so am surprised at this. Wish I knew how to track them down.
On the Italian Restaurant front, go to the Marina and find the old "Chinese Junk Boat". Next to this are some steps and the 1st reataurant on the left at the top is excellant. walking along the top floor, past the Junk Boat is another restaurant. The 2nd is the better of the 2 but also the one most busy I have found.
Hi philseymour - don't want to hijack this thread but if you want to chat about El Capote, that would be great. Shall I start a new thread..?
