This season had all my amalgam fillings changed to white ones, some cavity work, a porcelain cap and polar whitening £300, my friend had veneers and whitening after years of neglect(because she was frightened of dentists)She said Dr Patil was very gentle and talked her through each step of her treatment. In England I just have a fear of dentists bills!

Hi Jazz Was in Goa (Candolim)for 3 weeks over Xmas & New Year paid £950 each, back at the end of February also in Candolim paying £500 each for 2 weeks, Allan.

We were also there Xmas and New Year. Went to Dr Patils and he was very nice re explanations - wanted whitening and some veneers - but I chickened out of going any further. Going back to Calangute 9th Feb. Is he really that good?

Do you mean Godfreys Retreat? If so, we have been 3 times on overnight stays although you can go for the day. He has a tree house which we stay in. It is very relaxing there and worth staying overnight as you have more time with the elephants. The food is very good and Godfrey is a very good host.

Hi Sarabee, yes Dr Patilis very good, My friends have took to wearing sunglasses in case I smile and the difference in my friends teeth is amazing, Dr Patil took before and after photos but she wouldn't show them to us she said she didn't realise how bad they were before and she is getting more done when she goes back,and that is from someone who was terrified of dentists in the U.K. Allan.
ps if you just want a scrape and polish it is rs 500 and he does a really good job takes about 40mins not like my dentist in uk £20 for 2mins

Godfreys is North only about 45 minutes car journey from Calangute. His driver comes to pick you up. If you love elephants you will love it. You get to play with them in the river and have long rides.

I would think so, even if he adds a bit more on. I think he considers it part of the trip, most taxi drivers would have difficulty finding it anyway as it is off the road and they wouldn't want to risk their taxis on the rough terrain.
