I'm afraid to say I was one of several who "tutted" at the idea of this when we flew in July, (off on an [i]adults only [i]holiday) , but when it came on it was brilliantly done! No-one could take their eyes off it. Loved the "friends" too. They were all seriously cute without any "yuk" factor at all!

I admit, I rarely give the safety video my full attention but I would definitely watch this!

No doubt some people will find something to moan about it with it, but if it gets people to watch instead of fiddling with their mobiles, well done to Thomson.

I think this is excellent - I am sure it will bring a smile to passengers and do the job it's intended too as well. Clever Thomson.

It certainly did get people's attention on the plane and that is what the airline want. Three cheers to whoever thought of it!
With all the attention it has got, passengers will now be looking forward to watching it.

Not having IFE on our flight to Dalaman I have just played this and its top class put a smile on my face.

Just watched it...brilliant very cute very funny, I have to say watching them normally do the safety video gets boring, I never watch as I fly ever year..

My sister had this on her flight to malaga at end of august everyone apparently was laughing out loud and clapping...

Watching the safety demonstration is very important and should be watched even if you fly every week. The exits can be different on different types of plane.

The guys who work offshore have to watch a full safety briefing every 2 week trip and also do an emergency drill every trip despite seeing it dozens of times before.

If, God forbid, I am ever in an emergency situation, I hope my escape isn't hampered by people who suddenly panic when they realised they don't know what to do because they saw the safety briefing a year ago.

I agree Lucy.I always watch the video or the demonstration even though I go away 3 times a year.
I dont know what the staff must think when they see people reading or looking bored.
I will just have to book a Thomson holiday now as my next 2 are with Thomas Cook.

I can never believe the amount of people that dont bother to even look up when the safety announcements are going on. We have flown numerous times now and I still watch the safety videos and/or demonstration and always read the leaflet each and every time I fly (going and coming home). Taking my daughter with me now, I do feel that it is important for her to watch them as well and i make sure she watches carefully. Im a nervous flyer anyway and use this as part of my "relaxing into flight" routine. I do have this irrational fear about the life jacket though, dont know what it is, but it sends shivers down my spine just thinking about maybe having to put it on.

I love the new video though and hopefully it will encourage alot more people to watch next time they fly. Well done Thomsons

Watched this on my flight out to Malaga on the 19th September and no doubt will see it again on Saturday.
A brilliant idea and it kept the attention of at least 99% of the passengers......and we were laughing too.
