There is so much to do and see in the town. At the Helena you are very central and the Old Town is a pleasant walk. On the harbour (Mandraki) you can have a look to see if there are any boat trips you fancy, Symi, Nissiros and Thilos for other islands or just a trip to Lindos stopping at small bays on the way.The Castle of the Knights is well worth a visit and there a lot of museums, nice and cool in the heat of the day.The aquarium is nearby too.Near Mandraki there is the central bus station with timetables clearly marked so you can go to the south of the island for a few hours if you want a change from the bustle of the town. In the evenings you'll be spoilt for choice with restaurants and smaller tavernas and you are near Orfanidou St (Bar St.)for a drink in the evenings. There you can choose from all sorts of watering holes. I'm sure you'll enjoy.
