Going to the Riu Gran Canaria, Maspalomas in August.
We've been to Teneriffe before but never Gran Canaria.
Has anybody been to the hotel (only a couple of reviews in the reviews section) and any other info on the area etc much appreciated.
Just one further question....the brochure states "central" air conditioning.
Whats the difference between central and other types of air con, is it better or worse?
Thanks
I have worked in the Riu GC and its a great hotel. The staff are brilliant and the food is even better! Even though you're all inclusive, make sure you try some of the restaurants in Meloneras.
The air con just means that its controlled at a central point, rather than in your room, so the management basically say when its on. Saying that, I wouldnt worry because in August it should be on most of the day and night.
Im cerain you'll have a great holiday here!
Thanks for the reply GCprincess
I have just booked to go to this hotel in May, got a good deal by booking room only with travel agent and our own flights. Has anyone stayed here recently please. Any comments appreciated.
