We have booked this hotel for Christmas 2006 as we were out in Gran Canaria this year and everyone we spoke to who stayed at the Vistmar said it was excellent. No-one seemed to mind the location as taxis are cheap.

Everybody raved about the food, the cleanliness and the views hence the reason we have booked it.

I'm sure you will have a great time and I would appreciate your views on your return.

Thanks for your reply. The main reason we booked the Vistamar was because of the reviews it gets on various sites. They all go on about the food and how good it is, and me been a fussy eater, it means alot!Again they say how good the view is and the alcohol! More a less what the people you spoke to said. We don't mind the location, we like staying out the way of rowdy places, but just within reach of a lively resort. We are there for England's first 2 world cup games! So should be a good atmosphere.
I'll let you know how we get on. Sure it will be a great holiday.

Hi .... hoping you good folk might be able to help us. We are staying at the Riu Vistamar in July,looks brilliant going off the reviews.
We were wondering what the dress-code is for the restaurants at meal-times ...??
IE- is it pretty much informal (Shorts/T-shirts) at lunchtime,and are long trousers required for Dinner..?? Are Jeans acceptable ..???
I cannot find info on this anywhere on 'the net' ..... any help would be much appreciated.

Hi we are off to Riu Vistamar on 4th june, cant wait. Has anyone stayed here and do you have any tips of must do's whilst here. I dont want to here any bad reports unless there is a way of avoiding things as it is booked and we are going no matter what.

I am going to clubhotel Riu Vistamar in may this year and enjoy finding out as much as i can about the hotel im staying at so after checking out the reviews can anyone tell me anything else about this hotel?

Is it likely to be busy in may?

Looking for info on cots at Riu vistamar,amadores.first time taking infant abroad so totally clueless,are they safe and clean?

Having been at this hotel several times I have always drank the larger that is part of the AI package, but this year we are going with our freinds for the first time and he just drinks what I would class as beer ( Tetleys etc) and I cannot recall having seen it at any of the bars and was just wondering if anyone else has either seen or drank it as part of the AI package.
