Hi Helen,
Ive an apartment at Santa Maria and the road works have been awful but they are getting on really well and I would say that they should be complete by November. If you drive the road is now oneway and you will come down passed St. Eugens to the entrance. Have a good holiday.

Just got back from a 2 week stay at the Bahia Princess. The roadworks mentioned are still ongoing but are now almost up to the Torviscas Playa. I would image they will be finished long before you go to the Santa Maria.

Just got back from Tenerife my son and his friends have been staying at the Santa Maria, from the pool area or the apartments you wouldnt know that there was any work going on outside the complex, they are laying a few pipes in the road that leads up to reception however this will be finished long before you arrive.
