Hi,
Me and my boyfriend have just booked to stay in Rome for our birthdays in Feb, and we are booked to stay at the Impero hotel. Does anyone have any information on this hotel at all as there are no reviews, but apparently it's a good location etc. Also, any info/tips/must-see's in Rome would be appreciated.
Thanks
Becki

Do not miss galeria borgese for it's carravagio,s and amazing frescoes. It is also located in the most beautiful park in rome.
I have asked for both these hotels to be added to our reviews site. Perhaps you would like to write a review once the Beehive has been added.

Have stayed at the Beehhive. Nice hosts and very clean.
You will love Rome. Obvious places to see our the colisseum, spanish steps, vatican, panthenon. The colliseum was amazing and Irecommend paying the few extra euros for the narrated commentary which is done through a set of personal headphones. There are some really nice reataurants next to the collisseum which are a little pricey but you are paying for the location and view which is worth the extra. We took one of the many open air tour coaches where again you have a running commentary over eadphones and you can jump on and jump off as and when you please the tickets were valid for atleast 24 hours and it made sure we took in all the sites Rome had to offer. Can't think of a more romantic place for a couple to celebrate their birthdays - enjoy!
as regards restaurants around the collesium, be carefull as alot of themare overpriced and the food is not always very good, alot of the restaurants around the "sites" in rome are rip of tourist traps, this especially near the vatican where you can pay crazy money for awful food (my friends payed 40 odd euros for 3 cokes and a sandwich one year! please be aware of this.
Just look at and study the menus first. If you don't like what you see then move on to the next one.
just remembered this photo
The restaurant is directly in line with where her indoors is looking so you can see how close it is.
