I've recently seen a couple of reviews elsewhere saying that this hotel's entertainment has been taken over by a French company, that its overrun with French tourists and British guests are asking to be moved to another hotel. First Choice are playing it down. Thomas Cook don't seem to have it available this year.
Does anyone have any up to date information please? We were there last year and had planned to go again this year but I won't book it if it's as bad as I've read.
From the research I have done and reviews over December and early Jan I would stay away from this hotel. You will be paying a lot of money and taking a gamble that the French entertainment crew are not there! Travelling all that way you want Jamacan culture, or you could always go to France for half the price!

Good choice, have you booked yet and if so where are you going.
We've booked the Ephesia Hotel in Kusadasi in May. No reviews on here since 2005 but found good reviews elsewhere.
Sad not to be going back to Jamaica but the prices seem to have shot up this year compared to last year.
