Hi all..........
We're struggling to find an R campground in or around the Yosemite National Park (California)
We didn't realise they were so popular and even though we're still pretty early (going end on June) we've found out that most of the places we wanted to book are already reserved. Aparently they go within a few minutes of the season starting :-(
Anyway - has anyone experienced traveling in a motorhome in this part of the world? maybe you could give us some advice on finding a decent ground.
Is it possible to find places where you can simply park up and make it your home for the night?
Any tips would be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks
Andy
Have you tried the KOA campgrounds? They are a nationwide chain of campgrounds. In the area you are interested in I'm sure reservations in the summer are a must, but in less popular areas you can just pull off the road and stay.
