Safety aboard Red Sea Dive Boats

In the UK we are used to Health & Safety to the point of overload. Things are different overseas.
In a recent incident the evacuation of a boat was instigated by the passengers. It was disorderly but thankfully successful with minutes to spare before the boat was engulfed in flames with gas bottles exploding.
We have lost the art of taking responsibility for ourselves but if we are to take these holidays we need to regain it.

dibs - I think Altoman is right I go to the red sea next week and Whilst I agree people should be responsible for their own H&S - I think as you raised the subject if you are not prepaid to expand on the details on a public forum you could PM both of us - I know of one incident MY Rosetta caught fire and sank but that was on the 29th of May 2007 ?
