Simple answer is you cant. Obviously the idea of them is that they are not portable otherwise ti would be so easy to run off with one.

Can you not rent one of the timeshare apartments there. They have safes.

for safety's sake i would be tempted to request that the owners install a safe into the apartment.

We are talking maximum 100 euros here for a damn good safe!! There is no excuse.

All my apartments are very secure, and virtually impoosible to get ino without a key, however for peace of mind, electronic safes are installed.

Imagine the worst scenario......................you get your passports and wallet/purse stolen whilst you are here on holiday....................it doesn't even bear thinking about all the hassle youhave to go through to replace them.

It may be worth contacting the reception there, do they have any safes in reception???

My apartment on Garden City has a safe, I am very surprised that ALL the Private Apartments dont have them. Is it too late to change apartments because as others have said you will find it very difficult now, and to manage without one should not even be considered, alternatively get the owner to put one in rapido!!
