We have booked to fly to Turkey with Saga Airlines through Travel Republic / Kiss Flights. My problem is that Saga advise a 20kg checked baggage allowance & Travel Republic / Kiss Flights advise 15kg, with an option to buy an additional 5kg.
How does this work ??
Which one is it ? If we turn up with 20kg are we likely to get charged ??
Anyone flown with Saga ?
Many Thanks in advance.
1st time for us. I haven't heard of them either, but apparently they fly seasonally. We are going from Manchester to Dalaman.
Saga are an established Turkish charter airline and have been around for a while. You'll find plenty of information on the Flights Forum on the dedicated Saga Airlines Topic. You'll need to contact whoever you booked your holiday with to confirm luggage allowance. It'll normally be printed on tickets, booking confirmation or e-tickets as it's set by whoever has chartered the aircraft rather than the airline themselves. I suspect it'll be 15kg and 5kg hand luggage, with an optional 5kg of hold luggage at extra cost.

We too have booked Saga (MAN-DLM) via Travel Republic, and can confirm that luggage allowance is 15kg + 5kg hand luggage.
Thanks for the feedback.
