Luckily we werent hit as bad down this end in Villafortuny. I bike ride everyday up and down the beach paths Cambrils to Salou and the damage to the front in Salou is quite substantial. Sanguli campsite area took a beating many apartments on the sea front there are ruined. Beach is destroyed too. The council are beavering away to clear it all up though. I saw them today installing massive mounds of soil to act as protection from the sea. Fingers crossed I hope there isnt any more on the way?? My Sky TV dish isnt working anymore need to get the guy out to fix it. Damn and blast no Eastenders for a while!!!!

anyone know if they have finished cleaning salou up after the storm?

yes everything was back to normal after a fortnight.
The beach got washed away a bit but thats all been replaced now ready for the summer.

great news we aren't going till october but i'm glad it's back to normal. lovely place.
