Was after some help please!.

I have booked this hotel as a suprise for my mothers 70th birthday in September was just wondering what the situation was at the hotel with car parking around the hotel and if anybody has drove from the airport how easy is the resort/hotel to actually find?!!.

Any help appreciated :tup

There's ample car parking both at the beach club and the hotel. A drive from the airport takes about 25 minutes and is very easy to find.

turn right out of airport carry on that road till you see signs on island.when you get to san miguel its self.you need to turn right to port de san miguel.down the hill.

Can someone who's already been to San Miguel this year confirm whether the disco bar in the resort is still open? My son has heard that it is shut down and is gutted as that's where he normally spends his nights. We are going on August 4th.

Ther Irish bar is open late and it seems thats where a lot of people head to when the bars in the hotels close.

Hoping to visit the Irish Bar myself. The disco was great for teenagers though. Oh well-at least I can keep a closer eye on him if he's with me! He thinks he's off clubbing to San Antonio but not sure who he thinks is paying. Lol.

He told me he'd definately be there. Came back yesterday and missing it greatly. It will not be a Thomson Familyclub property next year so not sure if Lee will be there. Won't be the same without him. I won't miss Thomson the Dog though!
