We were told these apts have just been refurbished so the pool might have had a makeover too ha ha
We too are going to these apts the same day as u we fly out from Manchester
Im there with my hubby and my dad - u will spot my dad by the pool he loves the sun so he can take our towels down early
Jo
Hi Jo, Tracey is my surname not my wifes name hope we have a bit more luck with the thomson flight from manchester this year as you're on same one. should of left at 08.00 on sunday morning and got delayed for over 9hrs.... could of rowed there quicker!
Thomson lost my luggage last year so im more prepared halfing the clothes -
Have u stayed at these apts before
Heard good and bad about them
hi, no not stayed there before, stayed at lantiana in 2005 and the brilliant apts in 2006. i know where they are which is spot on for fig tree bay. to be honest all i want out of an apartment is a bit of space and cleanliness which is how i have found my experiences of cyprus so far. we endured a nightmare apartment in tenerife once which resulted in £800 in compensation, so after that every other apartment has been a palace since. the pools at the sandra do look more child friendly compared to the brilliant last year.really looking forward to it now
we have family stayin in pernera so we will spend a few days/nights with them as well
counting the weeks down now
Pleased to tell davetraceyuk that Mrs D is safe to swim in the pool.
can i just ask a few questions
Did u have to pay for the air conditioning?? -
i am travelling with my hubby and father and have requested if we can have a bed in the living room instead of the settee - did u have settees ni the Living Room
Getting excited now - dads first time to cyprus cant wait
Jo
As well as the sofa bed there were two other easy chairs in the livving room so you could leave the sofa bed made up although we chose not to.
Ive got all that to come with the kids - ha ha
I have emailed the hotel and they said they sometimes do provide beds instead of sofas and they would see what they have available
U recommend any nice restaurants while u were there
Hi Martha, good review , we have requested a quiet room so hopefully we will fall lucky like you. we requested this at the brilliant last year but ended up with the ventilation units whirring above us on the roof. funny but it kept us awake the first night, then once we were used to it we couldnt sleep without it Please can you post the sandra apts email address so i can start grovelling, need to blag a good room

I have to say the air con in the bedroom was a bit loud , the living room unit was obviously newer. Didn't keep me awake though.
Joanne - I did a resort review as well. Basically the best restaurants were Nicholas ansd Anatolia
Hi Martha, thankyou for your link, works perfectly :D. our ventilation units were the ones on roof of the building, not the apartment so we couldnt shut them off, like a hair dryer going off all night. I thought it was mrs D at first regurgatating a cockroach swalllowed in pool One night we heard an almighty crash and thought one of the kids had fell out of bed, mrs D ran into lounge to check which one had the fractured skull, dad didn't..... takes me a while to come round and the mystery was solved when we learned there had been an earthquake during the night. the infamous ventilation unit had collapsed on its side. can't wait for this september.............
We lookin forward to it - bit warey about the flights though that Flyjet had a plane delayed for over 24 hours and as they dont have many planes it has a knock on effect for everyone else ha ha
u may see us by about Wednesday if we are lucky ha ha - fingers crossed we should be ok

At the Zodiac bar Panacos the owner said to my daughter "You can sing all night" ......then he turned to me and shook his head
He must like my daughters song choices
i`ve been looking for the sandra apartments email address.
i was wondering if anyone could help me out?
i`m getting married and staying at the capo bay, but my inlaws are staying at the sandra and we didnt request a low floor for my father in law to be as hes walks with a stick due to hip replacement.
i might have left it to late but its worth asking for him to be happy and not moaing for the full two weeks!
cheers karen x

I have emailed the hotel - we dont go until the 23rd September and asked if we can have a bed in the living room instead of the sofa bed - we are travelling with my father who is 69 and they were really quick to email me back saying they would note my request and try and accommodate us (fingers crossed)
Jo
