I have been price checking online since before Xmas with a couple of hotels in mind for this summer. Details as follows;-
Hotel levante club, Benidorm, with First choice, pre sale £1046 sale £1058.
Same booking with Eclipse £1045 no change.
Direct holidays , hotel Madeira Centre, start of sale £1096 then £1146 on 1st Jan. This price has risen because direct have more than doubled the flight supplements (not to be confused with fuel supplements) for our selected dates.
My conclusions are that we will save nothing on these holidays even by booking during the said "sale" period and 8months in advance. No doubt the prices will go up but can you have a sale on projected prices. Another case of on selected items only.
