*the better diving & snorkelling site in all over egypt &the red sea is all over sharm`s coasts..
*the hotel beaches is mainly coral ones so even from your hotel you can have great fun
*best safari trips abugalom,the colored canyon in nuweiba,the white canyon,the monastery of st. catherine,moses mountain,the blue desert,serabit el-khadem temple
*even the night life of the city is asem many great discos little buddah,hard rock,sintillate,pacha party,the hard rock,dolce vita,fanara beach party....
just i love it

Thanks for the replies folks cant wait for jan sharm sounds fantastic... does the 24 hr rule apply im sharm to buying a bottle of spirits {not white spirit} or are things more relaxed with it being quite westernised???
Is there still plenty of night life going on even in january? and whats the prices for beers when you out and about.

anyone arrives in any place to egypt has the nest 24 h. as a time limit to nuy hat he needs from the duty free shop...there are 2 suty free shops in sharm,1 in naama bay by kahramana hotel & the other is in old market..but don`t buy beer from there as the egyptian ones are really good &even much cheaper-from alcohol stores 4 sure-that the ones in the duty free.
the egyptian beer that you can find in the alcohol stores in sharm is stella,luxor,miester...these stores are well spread in sharm at the moment
