As I have not been to Bayahibe, I thought I would do some research and pass it on to you and every article I have read about the beach says it is 'soft whit fluffy sand',so I guess you wont need those beach shoes to enter the sea.

Fantastic Angie. Can't wait now. You can see by a couple of my posts that you've answered today, that I'm getting into the mood already. Shame I've got to wait until August :really

Ye we all get excited about the Dom. Rep its such a great place, cant you tell with me, if you have read some of my replies to posters we go back year after year, must admit I woud'nt mind a second home over there alot of UK residents do.
August will soon come around, we are going back on April 27th. My case is practically packed already LOL.

We've booked a fortnight in Dreams La Romana. The most recent reviews after the refurb look promising :)
