I just returned from Icmeler. I know gold prices a rocketing. I just though I'd post as I had some scraps of gold which were no use to me. Weighed them here and was offered little, but took them to Icmeler and was offered £266, so sold what I had to a friend.
I did buy a chain a few years back for £400, this was weighed when I was there and he offered me £700 for it. I would not sell as I like it but I was shocked at how much they were buying for.
I just thought I'd mention this but unsure if I am 'allowed'. If not, sorry
these people are well recommeded on Martin lewis's money saving expert site as giving one of the best prices for broken gold or unwanted gold.

If you have something antique , special or with stones there will be somewhere better off for that sort of thing.
I got about £450 for a few scraps of old broken gold . Just weigh it and punch the details in on their site and it will give you a good idea of what you get . Their website automatically gives you a price .No phone calls or waiting . They actually weighed mine as more once they got it and money was in my bank account within a couple of days.
You just need to print off the quote they give you and pop it in the post (registered) to them .
Whatever you do dont use the people that advertise on the telly .
