I've been onboard the Oceana and never once felt it looked naff. I've just had a quick look at the website that you have been on and I do agree the pictures do not do it any justice. But the onbard experience is much different. My lasting memory of my time on Oceana is lots of gleaming well polished brass and glass fittings! and lovely decking/pool area with plenty of space and lovely food.

I really would not let a few pictures put you off. Hope that puts your mind at rest.
