Having connecting rooms was an imperative part of our booking - on arrival at the hotel in Mombasa - yup you've guessed it
 NO connecting rooms.
NO connecting rooms. After a day of to-ing and fro-ing with the rep and the hotel we discovered that they could not offer us connecting rooms until a week into our two week holiday.
The rep managed to find us alternative accommodation and we moved on day 3. We were very happy with the new hotel but we had to pay £155 for the pleasure

In the meantime hub and I spent the first two days of our holiday sleeping in seperate rooms (great!) and lost pretty a much whole day packing, unpacking (again!) and moving to the new hotel.
First Choice have offered us a grand total of £300. £155 that we had already laid out to be moved and the rest is compensation.
This seems pretty stingy to me considering how much the holiday cost us and the first 3 days were pretty miserable.

 Should we accept their offer?
Thanks in advance
