experienced many problems such as hotel bumping, useless representatives, harrassment from hotel staff, delayed flight (24 hours), lack of information received etc etc.


As you are only generalising nobody can advise you.

It is a matter of perception.

Your opinion of the reps matches that of some posters whilst others have no problem. Cannot answer for the hotel staff as we do not have an information.

Flight delays are a hazard that everyone faces. There are regulations laid down that cover such things dependent on how long.

You would be better posting in complaints section with a brief factual explanation of you complaint. Members may then be able to advise you.

Just take note that we can only express our own personal opinions and that in no way should be viewed as the response you may get from the TO

Where you not told of the reason for your flight delay? If it's the one I think it is, then there was a perfectly legitimate reason for the delay as the incoming aircraft was involved in a medical emergency. I'll not go in to details because it was a serious incident and wouldn't be fare to those involved. Given the circumstances of the delay, the airline would need to accomodate you until an alternative flight was arranged, which I assume they did. It's unlikely you'd receive any compensation for that delay.

No- it was Lauren who had the delay. As Lauren has not logged on to here since posting her query it may be a waste of time giving further advice. Wait and see if she comes back with further info first.
