Hi everyone,
I'm a single Mum and I really want to take my 8 year old to France camping. I am hoping to book direct with a good site like Yelloh or something that has kids club and great swimming pools.
It will be my first time driving so I'm hoping for some advice about good places to go that are easy to get to from Calais. I will be absolutely petrified about the driving but am really determined.
Any advice about places or even specific camp sites would be really useful. I'm intending to go from Dover to Calais because money is tight and the cheapest ferries seem to go on that route.
All advice gratefully received.
As you will be driving alone I would recommend Normandy as a good destination and don't just limit yourself to Yelloh there are quite a few companies selling to the UK you can use -- Matthews , Eurocamp, Keycamp, Canvas OK some are owned by the same parent company but they all charge different prices.
I take it you are planning on using pre erected tents but be aware there are other companies that cater for those of us with our own equipment too and with the price of equipment at places like Halfords it may work out tons cheaper too
if you have any specific questions post away or PM me if you want we are always here
