I have travelled with TC 4 times in the last 12 months and one of my holdalls is bigger than their dimensions but as long as it goes in the overhead locker and is only 5kgs they have been fine.
After I sit in my seat I watch what other people are bring onto the plane and some of the so called hand luggage is bigger than my suitcase.
Anyway. I've been doing a 'dummy pack' today - throwing in the things I've got to take and weighing my hold luggage. and it looks as if I'll be able to get more in that than I anticipated. I think I must be getting weaker as I get older as it seemed to weigh a ton when I lifted it but it was still well under 20kg and I've always found my Balanza scales to be accurate.
