Hi im new here have booked to go to goa in dec for 3 weeks staying at the marina dourada go on the 16th so there for xmas and new year
what is the sea like to swim in as im a keen snorkeller and love the sea
or any areas recommended to go to to snorkell
Alberts Odyessy operates out of Coco Beach, near Candolim and Calangute, he arranges trips primarily for dolphin spotting and visiting a remote island followed by a barbeque on a remote beach just under the airports flightpath. Along the way they stop to allow snorkelling at a sunken ship and at a couple of points near rocks. A lot depends on tides and visibility but we have been a few times over the years and for us novices it was OK
Once your over there you will find his place advertised on boards here and there, must be getting bigger as it used to be word of mouth . Failing that we are sure there are plenty of other places. Have a good time.
GOAYOUNG
Tried snorkeling at Baga and Palolem the sea is far too cloudy (feb two years running) but have not tried the above trip
