Snorkelling?

Yes. Yes. Yes.

I usually have a daily dip around Cala Bona/Millor. Plenty to see.

I was in Cala san Vicente (sp) two weeks ago (Between Pollensa and Porta Pollensa). I didn't have my snorkeling gear with me, but wished I had. Apparently the snorkeling is really good there. (Better than the resort itself).

I'm back in two/three weeks time and I will be taking my gear. The water is ultra clear there.

100% echo that. Cala San Vicente has three coves, and the snorkelling is great there. Suggest also you try a trip to do some out by Cap de Formentor. The likes of Robinson Boat do trips http://www.robinsonboat.com (you'll find their information all over the place when you're in Pto P.).

I'm not too well up on the names of a lot of what I see. There are the usual Med fishes. Lots of them and lots of colour. I hear that in Cala San Vicente bays, there are octopus not too far from the shore.

Before you go in, just make sure there isn't a visitation of the famous jellyfish shoals. I've been fortunate up to now, but I do get a couple of vinegar sachets from a cafe to stick in my wifes bag, just in case.

Good Luck and let us know how you get on.

Ps. Bubblegirl, you have a PM.
