Hello everyone!
I'm a frequent visitor to Egypt and love snorkelling, but I'm going to Majorca next week, staying in Puerto Pollensa. Wondered if its worth me taking my snorkel, mask etc? Is the water clear? Are there things to see? Thanks in advance!
I usually have a daily dip around Cala Bona/Millor. Plenty to see.
I was in Cala san Vicente (sp) two weeks ago (Between Pollensa and Porta Pollensa). I didn't have my snorkeling gear with me, but wished I had. Apparently the snorkeling is really good there. (Better than the resort itself).
I'm back in two/three weeks time and I will be taking my gear. The water is ultra clear there.

http://www.robinsonboat.com (you'll find their information all over the place when you're in Pto P.).
100% echo that. Cala San Vicente has three coves, and the snorkelling is great there. Suggest also you try a trip to do some out by Cap de Formentor. The likes of Robinson Boat do trips
Thanks guys, what sort of things am I likely to see there?
Before you go in, just make sure there isn't a visitation of the famous jellyfish shoals. I've been fortunate up to now, but I do get a couple of vinegar sachets from a cafe to stick in my wifes bag, just in case.
Good Luck and let us know how you get on.
