During our Nov/Dec visit we met a couple who stayed there. They were were generally favourable in their comments although some negatives, like you had to hire a kettle at 12.50 Euros a week and the room was a bit dated.
The hotel itself is way out near the airport, about as far from PDC as you can get and still claim to be in the resort. There is a sparse selection of shops/bars/restaurants by the beach-front, other than that you have a bus trip or 45 min walk into PDC.

Its a great hotel for watching the planes come into land.
We stayed here 5 years ago before it was refurbished and it was lovely.The food was very good and there is a lovely pool area and gardens.The evening entertainment was the best we have seen in a hotel.There was a shopping precinct on one side of the hotel and more shops a few minutes walk towards PDC.To walk to PDC took us about 1 hour.
