l last went to Turkey 2 years ago ..Tarkan's 'Dudu' song was always been played ..l bought his album while l was there ..l already loved 'Kiss Kiss' ..

"Simarik/Kiss Kiss", has to be better than Hotel California which was played every night in a Restaurant in Gumbet !! It didn't help that the tape was a bit dodgy, had seen better days. Going back to Turkey in September so may be able to give a better update !!
All I can remember hearing wherever we went in Turkey this year was Tony Christies 'Amarillo'. Worse still, it appears on the 'mini-club' cd my daughter was encouraged to buy. At least it brings back happy memories of Turkey!

I've just got back, got given a CD by someone in the Mermaid in Gumbet...but due to me being a little forgetful (something tells me its quite possibly alcohol related!!) I didn't have it when I got back to my hotel... 
Does anyone know if you can buy any mix tapes over the net anywhere? Either a bars website or a more 'official' version...I'd love to hear some of the stuff again, it takes you right back to the hols.

Unfortunately I don't know of any official cd's. When I get back every year I end up trawling the internet trying to find places that sell the songs i have heard and then i make up my own cd (only for personal use of course!) This years CD includes

I just tend to go into search engines and find songs that way.
Napster is a good (and legal!!) download site. But some of the stranger ones take a bit more time to find.
