hi colva beach is the nearest then benaulim varca and cavelossim in that order going south in the opposite direction theres betalbatim majorda and arrosim
i know of some guest houses and hotels around the cavelossim area which is about 15 to 20 mins on the local bus to margoa if you would like some info let me know anita woody

Hi anita thanks for your reply the thing is my partner is having some dental work done at the apollo in margoa which is going to take 3 weeks we usually stay in the north and travel down to every appointment I just thought it would be easier if we stayed nearer, how far would you say in a taxi time wise each of these places are and are these resorts quite lively beach shacks etc the journey from calangute is 1 hour 20 mins thanks

we stay nr cavelosim which is only 15/ 20 min by taxi from margoa its probably not much different from the other beaches i mentioned as thay are not very far apart all the beaches and beach shacks are a lot quieter in the south than in the north cavelosim has a good choice of restaurants what type of accomadation and night life are you looking for ? anita
