Campo Viejo who are well know for their Rioja also make a good Rose wine.

I am not sure how easy it is to obtain or the price in Santa Ponsa.

Try Jose Ferrer made in binnissalem, Mallorca. €7 to €20 in resturants. Also in most supermarkets

There are two bodegas in Santa Maria that do all wines,taste before you buy.There is a good market there on a Sunday.

Hi All

Can anyone recommend a good brand of pre-mix Sangria i can get whilst in Majorca
I love the stuff but never get it right when making it at home !!! So thought it would be much easier to buy the ready made ones.

Also we get a short at the restaurant chain La Tasca's called Creme Catalana

Does anyone know if this can be bought by the bottle whilst im away ???

Torres and Campo Viejo are national brands as is Faustino all very acceptable quality they should be available any where in Spain, they are in Tesco etc. of the Mallorcan wines Jose Ferrer have a very good reputation, but I drink red, it might be an idea to look in our supermarkets for a rose by any of the brands mentioned.

yes you can buy Creme Catalana in Supermarkets, it is a drink I like and have brought it home.
I have tried various Sangrias in Spain and all are ok( eg Don Simon)but don't compare with one I make at home!!
I soak chopped up fruit(eg apple,peach,banana grapes) in Brandy for several hours and then add Red wine+ any fruity Liquer I have in the house (eg orange, banana, kiwi)+lemonade +orange juice or squash and then sometimes a Cherry B. Its lovely!!
