Just trying to figure out how much spending money we'll need for a fortnight in Jamaica. It's only my hubby and I and we are staying at the Sunset Jamaica Grande in Ocho Rios on an All Inclisive basis. While we are there we will be attending a wedding at the Sandals Hotel in Ocho Rios but the day pass etc has already been paid for that.

I'm just looking for some advice on how much spending money to take. We've been on several AI holidays before and although we like to go on a few of the trips and as its our 5th anniversary while we are there we want to go for a nice meal. The rest of the time, we generally stay in or around the hotel. As far as I know we will only need money for the following : -

1) Bob Marley - 9 mile tour
2) Meal out one night (any restaurant suggestions would be appreciated)
3) Taxi's to and from the Sandals Hotel
4) Gifts/Souveniers/Shopping Trip

I was thinking £750 exchanged into dollars would be enough. Is this about right?

Also, can anyone advise the price of cigarettes/tobacco - is it best to buy in Jamaica or at the Airport on the way home. Same goes for perfume - is it best to buy on the way out from UK or on the way back?
