I would imagine the Irish Pubs do but I sincerely doubt the Spanish Celebrate it.
depends where you are in majorca, if you are close to or nearby santa ponsa the resort you want to be in that night, this is an irish resort and would imagine they will celebrate st pats day. have been in this resort numerous times and can recommend seans place, durty nellys and the samrock bar if your looking for lively entertainment alothough seans place is more relaxed. have a brilliant holiday.
Agree with previous poster that Santa Ponca will be good - lots of Irish bars, but if you are in Magalluf or Palma Nova go to Mrs Doyle's Irish Bar in Magalluf - it's always heaving there on Paddy's Day - and lots of good craic, with resident entertainer Mick the Fiddler. Also they are opening another Irish Bar, called Morgan's right next door, although I don't think that will be open by March. It's Spanish owned - maybe they don't know about St Patrick''s Day!!!

When we first took over our bar it was called "The George" which we felt was a bit too "English", but Mrs Doyle's was packed out St Patrick's Day, the Scottish Bar next door was full of fiercely patriotic Scots, so we decided to try a St George's Day - not even a flicker of interest!
Maybe we'll try again this year - can anyone lend me a dragon for the night?
- no I said a dragon!
Cheers
Adam
Its a shame really, we are patriotic in our house. We always have our St George's flag in the window, and wear our red rose in a buttonhole on the day. People just won't do it will they? We just keep having to put up with the hype of the other saints' days. Come on you English show us your patriotic. Sing Land of hope and glory or Jerusalem
Now you know why I have a rose on my profile.
Dawn
and me!
