Hi
Just returned from the Tobago apartments/hotel in Puerto Rico. Try not to book this one.
We had pigeons flying around on the balcony - leaving droppings behind, old balcony doors - wooden ones which really made a loud noise while opening and closing, plugs which did not work and plugs which were so close to the light switch you had to dry your hair in the dark, as they could not work together. Wires were hanging from the ceiling, walls and lights and the sofabed was missing a few latts - good job no-one was sleeping on this on.
The lift also broke so we had to climb 5 flights of stairs with cases on last day.
I was lucky as I paid a low price for this hotel due to booking last minute but feel bad for any others who may pay full price in the future.
I would however recommend Puerto Rico if you go try and stay close to resort centre rather than beach - you may visit this more.
Beach is lovely very relaxing and calm - weather was hitty missy.
Gran Canaria is lovely and we were informed by our rep that Puerto Rico is said to be 7 degrees higher in temperature than the others because of the location.
