my wife took her straighteners to the Riu Tequila, playacar however they simply did not get warm enough to do anygood.
i suggest you get a pair designed to work on 110v
Hope this helps
regards
Ian
Thanks Ian. We're also staying at the Tequila. Maybe I won't bother with the straighteners after all.
I wish I was back there now.
We had an excellent holiday last year (apart from the frizzy hair)
Also stayed at the Tequilla last year, FANTASTIC!! Took my GHD hair straighteners and although ok in the room, half an hr outside and I was a frizzy mess again! Gave up and had it braided, much easier!! Enjoy!!
Can anyone help. Will my UK straightners work OK in Mexico or would i be better buying Straightners from the USA, as they probably are the same voltage.
Thanks in advance for your help.
They took longer to heat up but worked perfectly
I only used them a couple of times as the heat made my hair go messy ha ha
Can anyone advise me whether my normal hair straighteners will be okay in Mexico? I am sure I have read somewhere re the voltage being different. I have tried to find travel straighteners but am struggling to find any at this time. Please help as I go in 2 weeks.
Tracey..
also remember, you cannot buy plug adaptors in cancun or playa del carmen so make sure you take them with you - and not take the european ones!!!
